Short answer: the Cambria Loot Chest claim closed on August 5, 2026, and the Genesis opt-in for past players closed on September 29. RSGP has not launched yet. Cambria has confirmed it will launch on Base via Aerodrome, with no official date. If you claimed chests, they open when RSGP launches, and you must open them within 14 days of launch. What is Cambria?

Cambria is a Web3 MMORPG with its own token, RSGP. It ran the Gold Rush seasons and is building toward a Genesis launch, and in July it dropped Loot Chests containing RSGP to people "who stuck around in the bear market." What made it unusual for airdrop hunters is that one path was retroactive: it scored your past on-chain activity, so you could qualify without ever playing.

Is the Cambria airdrop confirmed?

Yes. The Loot Chest drop happened and the RSGP token is confirmed. What is not confirmed is the launch date. RSGP was first expected in August; that slipped. In October, Cambria said it will launch on Base via Aerodrome, the main liquidity venue there. Community chatter pointed to mid-October, but nothing official was posted, so treat any date you see as a rumour until Cambria says it.

One more update since my video: Cambria's Charter NFTs sold out on October 8. That was a paid mint, not an airdrop.

What I saw in the portal (and why it still matters)

I am not a gamer, and I still signed in on the first day. Here is what the portal showed me, because it tells you how your chests were scored:

• Sign-in options include Abstract. Abstract wallets sign in by email, so you had to pick Abstract to check that wallet's allocation.
• A username and character were compulsory, and there was an invite code field.
• Chests contain RSGP, and rarer chests contain more. How many you got depended on on-chain factors: holdings and activity over the past year. Rarity was random.
• A countdown. When I recorded, there were 8 days and 10 hours left to secure the drop.
• Wallet linking. You could link several wallets: EVM wallets with activity on Base, Blast and Abstract, plus Solana. Each linked wallet is scored separately. A linked wallet cannot be unlinked, and the portal would not let me link the same wallet twice.
• A separate Genesis airdrop tab was game-based, built around points from playing.

I connected a Rabby wallet with Hyperliquid trading history. Our testing afterwards suggested signals like Hyperliquid activity, staked HYPE and holding PENGU counted. Chest size was weighted by a Degen Score and a Chad Score.

How to position now (step by step)

How much does it cost?

The retroactive claim was free apart from gas. Opening chests at launch should cost only Base gas, which is cents. Genesis Points cost your time. The real cost is missing the 14-day window, which turns chests you already earned into nothing.

Is Cambria safe?

Cambria is a real game with a confirmed token, but a launch with a deadline is exactly what phishers wait for. Expect fake "open your chest" and "claim RSGP" links the moment a date is announced. Only use the official Cambria domains, never sign a transaction or approval you do not understand, and never share a seed phrase .
