Genesis airdrop

A genesis airdrop is the first token distribution a project makes, usually at its TGE, to its earliest users.

Why it matters: genesis drops are often the largest share a community ever receives. Later seasons tend to be smaller.

Example: Variational has published a 32% genesis airdrop to points holders, fully unlocked at TGE.
