Start Fresh on Pump.fun (2026): The $50 Deposit Match, Card Sign-Up, Regions and the PUMP Airdrop Question

You have probably seen "get $50 free on Pump.fun" posts. I read the official terms line by line on October 27, 2026. The offer is real, but it is a deposit match that you earn by trading on five separate days, not a gift for signing up. Here is how to get it if you qualify, how to start with no crypto at all, and where the traps are.

Updated October 27, 2026. Catalog entry: Pump.fun .

(code uloggers). You get the deposit match of up to $50 if you qualify, and the app fee drops from 0.45% to 0.40%. Nothing here is guaranteed.

What is Pump.fun?

Pump.fun is the Solana launchpad where anyone can create and trade a coin in seconds. It launched in January 2024 and now covers far more than launches: a mobile app, livestreams, callouts (followers get a push when you call a coin), coins paired with tokenized stocks , BTC and metals, and trades on EVM chains including Robinhood Chain. Its weekly newsletter reported $4.72B traded across the bonding curve and PumpSwap in the week to October 4, 2026, its biggest volume week since May 2025.

Is the "$50 free" real?

Yes, under the Referral Rewards Program Terms (last updated October 26, 2026). The real terms:

  • Started October 7, 2026. It ends when the budget runs out or Pump.fun stops it. First come, first served.
  • New users only: you must have first used Pump.fun on or after October 7.
  • Apply a code in the mobile app before your first card purchase. Clicking a link alone does not attribute you.
  • Match base: the lesser of your first purchase through an in-app payment provider and $50. Buy $20, earn up to $20. Buy $500, still capped at $50.
  • Earned by trading, not depositing: the match pays in installments for your first five qualifying trading days (UTC) within 10 days of the deposit: 1/6, 1/6, 1/6, 1/6, then 2/6. On a $50 base that is about $8.33 a day for four days and $16.67 on day five. Miss days and the rest is forfeited.
  • Paid in SOL or USDC after review, with no promised timing.
  • Your inviter earns the same installment at the same moment.

Pump.fun's own X post sells it as "both of you get $50", plus about 10% lower fees for referred users and a temporary 4x boost for referrers. The fee page confirms the discount: the app fee drops from 0.45% to 0.40% with a referral code applied.

How to start with no crypto (step by step)

Check you are eligible. You must be 18+. Eligibility varies by country and Pump.fun updates it often, usually on X before its terms catch up. The app tells you whether the match applies when you enter the code. No VPN.
Install the app. It is on Google Play and the App Store. Note: Apple pulled the iOS app from the US and India App Stores on September 10, 2026, and I found no report that it is back. Android and the web still work there.
Sign up and apply the code. Open , copy uloggers and enter it in the app when you sign up. Do this before buying anything. The app sets up a Solana wallet for you.
Buy crypto with a card or Apple Pay. Tap Deposit, then Apple Pay or Card. Pump.fun's help center describes this in-app flow, and MoonPay announced it powers card, bank and Apple Pay buys in the app. The terms do not name providers, and they can change. Payment providers may ask for ID.
Do not withdraw it. Moving the bought crypto out before the last installment kills the remaining reward.
Trade on five separate days inside ten days. One genuine trade a day is enough. Wash trades, offsetting trades or trading between your own wallets void it.
Watch your wallet for the SOL or USDC installments after review.

Cost check: on a $50 buy, each trade pays the 1.25% bonding-curve fee plus the 0.40% app fee. Small trades keep that to cents, but the coins you buy can lose far more than the match.

How to pay

  • Only your first in-app card or Apple Pay purchase counts toward the match. Crypto transfers in, such as SOL sent from an exchange, do not.
  • Enter the code before that purchase.
  • Payments go through Pump.fun's payment partner (MoonPay announced an integration), so a normal Visa or Mastercard works if the partner accepts it. Apple Pay needs a card in Apple Wallet.
  • If one card is declined, try a card from another bank.
  • No bank card that works? Crypto cards such as Tria () or TUYO () can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Expect a quick ID check on your first purchase. The payment partner runs it, not Pump.fun. MoonPay's help center says a first order asks for your name and address, a government photo ID (passport, national ID card or driving licence) and a selfie or liveness check, and sometimes proof of address. Have your ID ready before you tap Buy so the match purchase does not stall.
  • Trade on 5 separate days within 10 days to receive the full match.

How to get the full $50 (step by step)

Enter the code first. Apply uloggers in the app (from ) before you buy anything. A purchase made before the code is applied does not count.
Make one card or Apple Pay purchase of at least $50. The match base is the lesser of that first in-app purchase or $50, so $50 is the amount that unlocks the full match. Only the first purchase counts, and crypto sent in from an exchange does not.
Leave it in the app wallet. Withdrawing the bought crypto before the last installment forfeits what is left.
Trade on 5 separate days within 10 days. Days are counted in UTC from the deposit. Make one real trade a day in a liquid coin with an actual market, sized at a few dollars, not dust. Wash trades, offsetting trades and trades between your own wallets void the reward.
Collect the installments. Days one to four release 1/6 each (about $8.33 on a $50 base) and day five releases 2/6 (about $16.67), paid in SOL or USDC after review, with no promised timing.
Know the costs. The card or Apple Pay buy carries the payment partner's fee: MoonPay's pricing disclosure lists up to 4.5% for card buys plus a minimum fee on small orders, so budget a few dollars on $50. Each trade then pays the 0.40% app fee (with the code applied) plus the 1.25% bonding-curve fee on coins still on the curve. On five $10 trades that is cents in fees, but the coins can lose far more than the match.
For referrers: Pump.fun's X post advertises a limited-time 4x boost on referral rewards. The Referral Rewards terms do not define it (what is multiplied, from when, or for how long), so treat it as a bonus you cannot plan around.

Which regions are supported?

Eligibility varies by country and Pump.fun updates it often, usually on X before its terms catch up. The app tells you whether the match applies when you enter the code. The written Referral Rewards terms do list some exclusions, but they lag behind: users in countries that were once excluded report earning the match. The payment partner also has to operate where you are. Separately, the platform itself blocks the UK, Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Is there a PUMP airdrop?

No airdrop has been announced. PUMP launched in July 2025 through a public sale that sold out in 12 minutes. A user airdrop was floated then and never shipped. What exists instead is a buyback: Pump.fun's token page shows $495.5M of PUMP bought and burned, 17.4% of the 1T supply, with 50% of revenue locked into buybacks for one year from April 28, 2026. The page also says PUMP grants no right to revenue.

Speculative angle: if Pump.fun ever rewards app users or creators retroactively, an account with real history in the app is better placed than a fresh one. That is a guess, not a signal from the team.

Creator rewards and other earning

  • Creator fees: 0.30% of every bonding-curve trade on your coin, and up to 0.95% on PumpSwap at certain market caps . Creating a coin has no platform fee.
  • Holder Rewards coins: a creator can route that fee to holders instead (0.01% up to 3% on custom pairs).
  • Callout Rewards: USDC paid roughly daily to callers whose calls perform. The formula is private and Pump.fun can set the pool to zero.
  • App competitions: one started October 3 with $100,000 in solo and $100,000 in squad prizes.

There is no points program. My deeper piece on the creator side is Pump.fun creator engine .

Is it safe?

Pump.fun is the largest Solana launchpad, but memecoins are among the riskiest assets in crypto, and most launched coins go to zero. The match is reviewed and can be withheld. Fake "claim" pages and impersonators are common. Only use pump.fun and the official app, never share a seed phrase , and put in only what you can lose. This is not an income opportunity.

FAQ
